1761studio wants to create a "base where anyone can freely express". With that in mind, it opened in 2015 in Shonan and Hiratsuka as a share atelier where young artists gather. Currently, not only as an atelier, but also holding regular events such as galleries and workshops. In addition, 1761studio has 11 various artists who are active in their respective fields such as painters, blacksmiths, lacquer artists, poets, novelists, dancers, curators, sculptors, art directors, and designers.
