Homma Yoseki Museum

"Hakone parquet" was started in the Hakone region at the end of the Edo period. At the museum, a collection collected over many years by traditional craftsman Noboru Homma is exhibited with the aim of preventing the dissipation of historic parquet and passing on the techniques. At the workshop, you can observe the craftsmanship of the craftsmen through the glass, and also hold an "experience class" (reservation required) to make coasters with original patterns.
