BankART Temporary is a facility using the historic building "Former Daiichi Bank Yokohama Branch (partially restored)" built in 1929, and has a semi-circular balcony with heavy Tuscan colonnades. It is a beautiful building with features. * In April 2020, the name was changed from "YCC Yokohama Creative City Center". An art space that utilizes the historical building "Old Daiichi Bank" located at Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line. This building was used by BankART 1929 for several years when the creative city concept of Yokohama started in 2004. After various transitions, BankART will operate again in 2020. The Kitanaka district, where this building is located, has changed significantly from before, and is now lined with high-rise condominiums, hotels, and the new city hall. Although it is a short period of time, I would like to carry out active activities while opening to the public like other facilities of BankART.
