Ferris Jogakuin University School of Music was established in 1989. Currently, about 300 students are studying, and about 20 students are studying further at the Graduate School of Music. The campus is divided into two areas: Yamate in Naka-ku, Yokohama, the birthplace of Ferris, and Green Garden (Izumi-ku, Yokohama), which opened in 1988. The School of Music and the Graduate School of Music conduct approximately 20 concerts per year, including public concerts and public lectures.
