Traditional indigo Dyeing Workshop Dento-Kougeikan

It is a facility where you can easily experience traditional indigo dyeing, and it doubles as the west gate of a Japanese folk house garden. Inheriting the technology of Konya in Kawasaki City, we manage eight "indigo turtles" and carry out indigo dyeing experiences, mini-exhibitions, and sales of indigo dyed products. We also offer seasonal workshops and two-day courses to learn full-scale techniques. For a casual indigo dyeing experience, there are handkerchiefs ¥ 700 and tote bags ¥ 1,200, and carry-on dyeing requires a "basic carry-on fee" and a dyeing fee. <Access> From the north exit of "Mukogaoka Yuen Station" on the Odakyu Line, take the Odakyu Bus [Muko 10], get off at "Senshudaigakuzen" bound for "Senshudaigakuzen", and walk for 5 minutes, or walk for about 20 minutes from the south exit of "Mukogaoka Yuen Station" on the Odakyu Line.
