Museum of Yokohama Urban History
After the opening of the Yokohama Port in 1859, the history of Yokohama has been overcome since the damage caused by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 and the Great Air Raid in Yokohama in 1945. In order to better understand the present city of Yokohama, from the three aspects of "city formation", "living of citizens" and "Yokohama culture", the development of the city of Yokohama was centered around the prewar period of the Showa period when the prototype was formed.
