Shibata Park

When you walk down the Ooka River from the ward office, there is "Kanda Park" (Yadocho 1-1, about 2.3ha) where the Ooka River branches off with the Nakamura River. The area around here was taken over by the post-war forces and returned in 1954. Shibata Park was opened in April 1984 as a park centered on an athletic plaza (baseball field) in that area, and has been used as the terminal venue for the international masquerade process and the Kanagawa central venue for May Day.
