YOKOHAMA MINATO MIRAI21

Shoraian

A tea room and shoin with a front yard in a corner of a Japanese garden in Takasago Ryokuchi. The strolling-style pure Japanese garden uses the garden created during the Shoraiso era, a Southern European-style Western-style building completed by Yasusaburo Hara (former chairman of Nippon Kayaku), and has Izumiike, Tsukiyama, Ishibashi, Umebayashi, etc. At the top of the artificial hill, there is a tenth-sized small tower that faithfully imitates the triple tower of Yakushiji Temple in Nara. The stone lanterns in the park are said to have been given by people in the political and business world who had a close relationship with Mr. Yasusaburo Hara during the landscaping. <Access> About a 5-minute walk from the south exit of JR (Tokaido Line / Sagami Line) Chigasaki Station
