HAKONE BOTANICAL GARDEN OF WETLANDS

Hakone Botanical Garden is a botanical garden centered on plants that grow in wetlands such as rivers and lakes. In addition to 200 species of wetland plants scattered throughout Japan from lowlands to high mountains, 1100 species of grasslands, forests, and alpine plants are collected in the park, and about 1700 including rare foreign mountain grasses. Seed plants are in bloom every season. The garden road is designed to look around the plants in order from lowlands to high mountains, from early moors to developed moors. <Access> From Hakone Tozan Railway "Hakone Yumoto Station", take the Hakone Tozan Bus (bound for Kojiri / Togendai) for about 40 minutes and get off at "Sengoku Information Center" and walk for 8 minutes.
